This week at Duke University an announcement was made; the establishment of a new tradition. Each Friday from the chapel tower, the Muslim call to prayer, called the 'adhan' would be amplified. Take a minute to consider how offensive this decision was to followers of the Messiah. The "adhan" is by far one of the greatest anti-Christian chants devised and I was truly disturbed and saddened to hear of this. Here, in green, is part of the call followed by my comments in black:
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is Greatest (Greatest of the 360 gods that were depicted in the Kaaba in Mecca where Allah was (is) represented by the black stone)
I bear witness that there is no divinity but Allah (The Messiah was not divine)
I bear witness that Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger (Muhammad is not only a name but a title: 'the praised one', originally a title for Yeshua/Jesus)

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest (Greater than the God of the Bible)
There is no divinity but Allah. ( No unity of Father, Son & Holy Spirit, just the surviving god of Arabian idol worship)
The decision to establish this wicked and offensive tradition was quickly withdrawn. But still will take place in an area outside the chapel. Be prepared for another attempt to establish the tradition from the tower and watchother Muslim Brotherhood attempt to breach the wall!
